By downloading, installing, or using Wortz ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms supplement (and do not replace) Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
Wortz is a German vocabulary learning companion that uses spaced repetition flashcards, word images, pronunciation audio, and article pattern tips. The App helps you retain vocabulary you are learning in German courses or through immersion. It is not a language course and does not teach grammar or sentence structure.
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. No account, registration, or personal information is required to use the App. Users between 13 and 17 should use the App with parental or guardian awareness, particularly regarding any in-app purchases.
The free tier includes 5 bundled vocabulary categories (approximately 180 words), all review modes, spaced repetition, statistics, streak tracking, daily goals, and text-to-speech pronunciation. These features are provided at no cost with no time limit.
Wortz Pro unlocks additional vocabulary categories beyond the 5 free categories. It is available as:
