Using layers in DesignLab is a fun, effective way to organize all of the different design elements within your project. As an example, you can change the visual hierarchy of your design. If there is an text you want on top of an image, you can use the layer panel to make this change.

To access the layer panel, tap on the layer icon at the top left of your editing canvas:

You can tap on an individual layer to access it for further editing, or you can tap the three vertical dot icon to the right of the individual layer to access more options:

To change the order of a layer, simply long tap to hold and drag the layer to the desired position:

You can also select multiple layers by tapping on the circle to the left of each individual layer. This will allow you to select multiple layers at a time, and move them all simultaneously:
