About Whatis

Finding and sharing knowledge within a company is hard. You might need a highly specific piece of information, but it’s hidden away in a long internal wiki page, or in one of your colleague’s heads. Often, you’ll end up booking a video call or direct messaging them for an answer that should be readily available. Whatis is the easiest way to manage your team’s highly contextual, short-form knowledge, right from the tools you use the most.

Whatis is a next-generation workplace productivity tool that is part knowledge management and part collaboration. We're building a product-led B2B tool that fundamentally changes the way teams manage, curate, and explore their company's knowledge.

Whatis was founded by Hugo, Mitchell, and Aaron, and we're looking for awesome people to join us on this journey.

Who we are

• We are well-funded by Afore, System.One, and a group of fantastic angel investors who have founded companies like GoCardless, Wealthsimple, PeakOn, Deliveroo, and more.
• We ship features daily to production and speak with our customers constantly.
• We are a remote-first team. Two of our co-founders are in London, UK and one in Toronto, Canada
• We believe small teams can have an outsized impact by moving quickly, creating alignment, being nimble and taking ownership
