Windsurf는 cascade라고 하는 AI agentic collaborative 툴을 지원하는 Text Editor입니다. 요새는 VSCode같은 Text Editor도 IDE로 보는 사람들이 많아서 IDE라고 보셔도 될거 같습니다.

강조하는 부분은 여러 파일들을 참조하거나 온라인의 공식 문서를 참고하여 강건한 검색 기능을 제공한다는 것입니다. 즉, RAG 성능이 더 좋다고 말하고 있네요. RAG는 어떤 형태든 계속해서 발전하게 될거 같습니다!

Cursor라는 IDE가 2023년 말 ~ 2024년을 강타했다면, Windsurf는 2024년 말부터 개발자들 사이에서 Cursor보다 더 좋다고 암암리에 소문이 나던 툴입니다. 저는 홍대병에 걸려있는 사람이기 때문에 사람들이 많이 쓰는 Cursor보다 Windsurf가 좀더 끌리긴 하더라고요..

그래서 Windsurf를 잘 쓰고자 어떻게 하면 잘 쓸수 있는지를 정리해보았습니다. 감사합니다.
