Find a list of widgets that you can use here
First of all, what is a widget?
Google says that a widget is "an application, or a component of an interface, that enables a user to perform a function or access a service."
Cool, but... how is this related to Topia? Let me tell you:
You can link objects on Topia. That's fun. Most of the times, the link takes you out of the world to another tab in your Google Chrome. And that it's not cool, because you want to create immersion in the world. You don't want people to leave and get all distracted. The Internet is very distracting.
So, these widgets are allowing us to link things in world, and they will show up in a pop up window. Yay! I'm going to give you some examples to spark your creativity:
1. SCAVENGER HUNT
I created a Scavenger hunt using Padlet, and this is how it looks when you click the object with the link:

This looks great. It has room for improvement, tho. I don't like that banner, I don't like that my name is on it. But it works. Also, you can only create 3 or 4 for free, and then you have to pay 5 dollars per month. I just upgraded my account because this is the easiest solution that I've found so far to add text in world. ALSOOOOOO, YOU CAN MODIFY IT RIGHT THERE! How cool is that? Now you can even create a Wall with greetings from visitors or something like that. A exquisite corpse game. A rol game. I don't know.
Get creative, please.
We are building worlds, but don't forget that the look of the world is not it. What's the content? What's the programming? How are you helping people to connect and interact? How do you entertain humans? I promise I will write more about this in the future. Now let's continue with the widgets.
2. MAPS
When I'm creating a 8000x8000px world, I like to create maps to guide people a little bit.
