A lot of this is inspired by Contrapoints, I am in awe of the patience and empathy she shows when discussing emotionally fraught issues. I actually think she is an excellent example of someone who steel-mans opponents and if I didn’t have her as a progressive example of someone who did that before coming across EA, I probably would have noped out of the movement.
