By checking for mouse and keyboard activity, Lifeline measures when you’re at your screen and when not. This measuring is necessary to visualize your days and calculate your optimal break time. If there’s no activity from mouse nor keyboard, Lifeline assumes you’re not at your computer anymore and automatically starts a break.
We also use activity monitoring for the auto-timer feature, which automatically launches sessions for you in case you forget to do so yourself.
We don't store any data anywhere and Lifeline runs 100% locally on your computer.
