We’re growing our campaign for the Science Museum to drop the sponsor of its Green Energy Gallery. Adani is the world’s largest private producer of coal and a major producer of arms and military equipment to Israel, including in partnership with Elbit systems.
At a time of escalated genocide against Palestinians, rapidly rising climate crisis, and the repression and violent displacement of Indigenous populations to make way for large-scale mining – companies like Adani are exploiting our cultural institutions to ‘greenwash’ and legitimise their dirty profits.
For over four years, many groups have organised protests, banner drops, petitions, and interrupted events to bring our message to the Board of Trustees. We have successfully persuaded speakers to withdraw their participation from Museum events, and the Museum’s own staff have supported calls to drop Adani.
We know that the Board and Management are feeling the pressure, so it’s time to turn up the heat!
