• Explanation of purpose: To argue that accountants are underrated in the effective altruism movement (no 80k profile)
• Explanation of the misconception that accountants only do bookkeeping and why I think they would be excellent at organisation building, leadership positions and operations work.
• My story of doing the ICAS chartered accountancy case study and ethics paper just before the FTX scandal. (this is a paper where you get an example of an individual acting unethically and a company with poor controls then you as the accountant need to write an ethics memo pointing out all of the problems - lol, reading about ftx was WILD)
