Chambalguy, music monikor of Somanshu Agarwal/Chambalguymusic, is an independent singer-songwriter and storyteller from Gwalior, India. His music blends Hindi lyrics with Indian indie rock, folk, acoustic textures, and soulful melodies. His songs are deeply personal, rooted in emotional storytelling, with a raw, heartfelt voice that connects with seekers and dreamers.
Currently performing under Project Indian Dust, his debut full-length Hindi album ‘Ufaan’ releases on June 15, 2025.
Born and raised in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Chambalguy's music is heavily influenced by the silence of old forts, the warmth of friendship, and the monsoons of Madhya Pradesh. His journey has taken him through Jaipur, Pune, Delhi, Nagpur, and Bengaluru, cities that have shaped his songwriting and soundscape.
