I'm a professional ping-pong ball between two countries. Seoul raised me, Sydney claimed me in 2009, and Perth somehow convinced me to stay (probably the sunsets and cheaper rent).

These days I'm fluent in three languages: English, Korean, and Frequent KrisFlyer. My frequent flyer status exists purely to bridge the 8,000km gap between "home" and "home" – because apparently, I couldn't just pick one like a normal person.

Australia's definitely home now, but my parents are still in Korea doing what Korean parents do best: asking when I'm visiting next and whether I've eaten yet (the answer is always "not soon enough" and "yes, eomma").
