Project Overview

WhatsApp users frequently discuss expenses and payments on the platform. However, managing these financial conversations and settling payments is cumbersome since users must switch between different apps.

This project proposes a seamless bill-splitting and payment feature within WhatsApp. Using LLM technology, the feature will identify financial discussions in chats and offer splitting suggestions. Users can divide expenses, make payments through WhatsApp Payments, and track transactions—all without leaving their chats.

By addressing these user challenges, the solution simplifies payments and encourages WhatsApp Payments adoption, supporting WhatsApp's mission to integrate everyday functions.
