Word Clip - Each identified word in the soundwave is represented by a Word Clip. If you delete it, both the video and sound for that portion will be removed. To restore what you have deleted, simply double click the same Word Clip.

Text Area - Words which Auris has automatically transcribed and returned to you for further editing/proofreading.

Subtitle Box - Each subtitle box contains words transcribed by Auris as well as an editing box for you to edit the subtitle. Break up or combine the Subtitle Box by pressing the backspace or enter on your keyboard.

Timeline Editor - Match the sound clip with the corresponding caption. To do so, simply click and drag.

Unrecognised section - Auris does not recognise this particular word/phrase. However, you can edit this clip. For example, if this clip consists of 3 spoken words, simply type out the 3 words as you hear them. If you would like to break up the words into different boxes, use the sound editor to do so.

Silent section - Auris does not detect any sound. ****You can leave it as it is, add text if there are words being spoken, or break it up into multiple clips using the sound editor.
