By default, requests are public. This means the request page and all of its details are visible to other users and guests. Additionally, public requests can have their bounties crowdfunded by other Bount users.
If a request is set to private, only the creator of that request and the target of the request can view it. Private requests can’t be crowdfunded at this time.
