Dynamic Audio Insertion (DAI)

Before getting into the how's **of this feature, let us first take a look at why and what **this Dynamic Audio Insertion is for. There are endless possibilities on how you can use the DAI, and we're very excited to see how creative you'll be with this feature.

In fact, the method of usage is ENTIRELY up to you!

To give you an idea, here are just SOME ways you can use the Dynamic Audio Insertion:

  1. Insert CTA (Call To Action). CTA is very important because it produces value through conversion. This is the same reason as to why product promotions by prominent creators are valued by brands and businesses. However, many small and medium-sized creators often ignore CTA. Call-to-action lines such as:

are just some common examples that creators often forget to record and include into episodes. The Dynamic Audio Insertion solves this problem. We have a pre-recorded Demo Audio Block that invites listeners to leave comments, ratings, and sponsorships.

You may directly use these for your show with the following steps :

    1. Open the Upload New Episode page
    2. Upload the main content (audio file) of your episode
    3. Select "Add Audio Block"
    4. Drag it to wherever you want (usually at the beginning or end)
    5. That's it!
  2. Want to make your own CTA? If you don't like the demo audio block provided, you can also insert your own reusable audio block. Simply press the "x" sign under Audio Blocks to remove the file. Upload your file, and the succeeding steps are the same as part 1.

  3. Advertisements and Ad Spaces. If you have experience working with brands or advertising partners, you can record these ads separately and insert it into the episode of your choice (you no longer need to open a a separate editing software).

Your last 3 episodes usually make the best candidates for ad spaces.

New Firstory Studio Dashboard and Data Analytics

Dashboard Interface

In order to prepare for future data releases, we adjusted our interface into a columnar structure. You can now see all your data at a glance and quickly spot the measure you're searching for.

New Data Measure: Podcast Performance

You can now benchmark your showโ€™s performance against others in the same category and all podcasts (Firstory Pro). You can also see your showโ€™s position (e.g. top 5%). These metrics may also be helpful for advertisers.

Separation of Audience Feedback

We recognize the importance of audience feedback to every creator. This is why we have decided to create a separate page in the sidebar which can allow creators to quickly access this information.
