What is #ReFi?

In essence, “ReFi” is the shortened tag for “regenerative finance.” The term is modeled after “DeFi,” which the acronym used by the blockchain to describe “decentralized finance” applications).
It is now used to describe any web3 startup working on climate action or improving the planet.

Yes! The crypto community adopted regenerative finance (#ReFi) as a rallying cry for many web3 for climate projects. However, it originated from the bipartisan/non-ideological idea of basing our economic system on the patterns found within nature.
