I'm not going to go out of my way to try and build credibility here. To be absolutely clear, I'm not trying to assume the role of teacher, or claiming to be some super-wise and experienced practitioner - and anything that comes across to the contrary is not my intention.

This is my attempt to create a resource I would have found useful or insightful when I was first starting out. Perhaps even before I was "starting out"; I would love to have 'stumbled across' something like this, and I think if I did, maybe I would have become interested in these topics earlier. If I can pique the interests of some, and point others to potentially helpful resources for where they're at, I will have achieved my goal in creating a useful repository of information and recommendations.

Here I am contributing my own efforts in making Contemplative Fitness more accessible to those unfamiliar with it and who might otherwise be deterred by common misconceptions, or ignorant to the fact that there's "more to meditation" than [just] stress relief.

I encourage you to engage with the content here on this website in a way that's appropriate for you personally. By all means skim, apply a critical lens, question things, clarify. Be skeptical, and find a way to be compatibly, cautiously, open-minded.
