While Prisma seeks to amplify and support important causes, we believe that the organizations and non-profits are often in need of direct financial support to fuel meaningful change. That's why Prisma matches donations from our employees to social justice causes.
Black Lives Matter
- Match all employee donations to Black Lives Matter charities and fundraising
- Provide time off for employees to participate in protests or take care of their mental health
- Discuss Black Lives Matter and share resources for allies internally
- Allow all employees to expense books that educate them about the issues at hand
- Take a public stand for our support for #BLM
Climate Change
- Match all employee donations for Climate Change related charities and fundraising
- Invite all in-office employees to leave the office for the global climate strike, and encourage remote employees to participate in local climate events
- Maintain sustainable practices in the Prisma office space
- Offset the carbon footprint of all company travel
- Plant trees for our community and ambassadors
Diversity and Inclusion
- Match all employee donations for diversity and inclusion related charities and fundraising
- Regularly sponsor diversity tickets for external events
- When hosting our own in-person conferences, Prisma allocates diversity tickets (online conferences are free for all)
- The Prisma Diversity in Engineering Scholarship to encourage women from minorities to pursue software engineering studies
