Treat this as a time capsule of sorts. Edits to come

๐ŸŒพI am wrapping up my role as Product Lead (non co-founding employee #1) at AgriG8

AgriG8 - Unlocking capital for climate-resilient farmers

Iโ€™m responsible for driving the pilot(s), and I take charge of our products as we build them from 0 to 1. I lead a team of designers and work closely with my software lead and the executive team. Weโ€™re building up much needed financial infrastructure for unbanked rice farmers in SEA and beyond, and opening the gate to enabling carbon credit and sustainability-linked loans in the sector.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ I also taught at the NUS Institute for Engineering Leadership

Frugal Innovation

๐Ÿ› I was also an Associate Product Manager at X0PA

X0PA - The World's Most Objective Hiring Platform

X0PA is building the world's most objective hiring platform. I love the team so much, and I genuinely wish them all the success in the world.

The main product I managed was the AI Internship Placement System, which is currently live in two polys in Singapore.

I've done other pretty interesting things in the past, where I used to:

๐Ÿฆด Be a Biomedical Engineering student (and researcher) in NUS Engineering

I graduated with a B.Eng and dropped out of my M.Eng (I was attempting to do research on microfluidic devices to optimise chemotherapeutic dosage at the Micro-Tissue Engineering Lab).

๐Ÿ’š Lead YSI SEA and its three innovation programmes as the COO

Our mission was to empower Southeast Asian youth to solve sustainability challenges. We created online-offline hybrid innovation programmes (before COVID made it cool).

๐Ÿงซ Do business development for biotech company Cellivate Technologies

Cellivate Technologies developed and patented nanotechnology that enables cells to adhere better and accelerate their growth while maintaining vital cellular markers.

๐Ÿค Coach Negotiation in Tembusu College and NUS Business School

I coached and coordinated the Heart of Negotiation Workshop, and assisted in BMA5406: Negotiations and Conflict Management.

๐Ÿฅผ Intern in Robert Bosch (SEA) Corporate Research and Bio3D Technologies

I did research on point-of-care sensors for ions in blood, and did product development for a portable 3D-bioprinter.

โœ๐Ÿพ Write for Biotechin.Asia, which is focused on biotech and healthcare news.

I wrote about open access bio- and med-tech, along with some other topics.
