The client wanted to repurpose an existing 1950s brick outbuilding into a warm, usable garden room without extending the main house. The aim was to retain the character of the original structure while creating a flexible, year-round space that could function as a home office and a relaxed summer chill area.

The building had previously been divided into two small rooms with separate doors, making it dark and impractical. By removing the internal partition and reworking the access, the layout was opened up and visually connected to the garden, patio, and surrounding vegetable beds.
