The next 6-12 months must pull us closer to our vision of building a dynamic, personalized, and social mental health app. We've discussed the following themes that require further scoping: personalized routines, multiplayer, and assisted search.

To date, we've built a good mindfulness journal. If you are like me, you can hear how boring that sounds. Personally, I don't want to use the word journal again. It's the opposite of magical**.**

What I want to build is the Wellnest World – the single player companion, multiplayer support network, and on top of all of this the quickest way to search your progress in life. Why? We believe that enabling conversations about wellbeing is the best way to alleviate symptoms of loneliness, anxiety, and depression.

The good thing is we are the most capable team to make this happen. We know the market, we deeply empathize with our users' problems, and we have the power to build something magical.

Single-Player Upgrades

At this point our app is a library of guided prompts that a user can choose from at leisure. Here's my analysis of each key issue with this and what we could do to improve it:

  1. The app is completely baked before a user even makes an account.
  2. Users feel unsupported by Wellnest, and they don't like the one-way communication.
  3. Users aren't incentivized by gold, and they don't know what to do with it.

Here's an example of how flow-building might work: based on user onboarding, we suggest three flows. We curate a morning routine that consists of reflecting on dreams and planning the day ahead, a post-yoga routine that complements an existing practice and allows them to reflect on how it went, and an anxiety-calming routine that helps them break down their thoughts and feel better in the moment. The beauty here would be finding a way to make users proud of their routine, and sharing it, or finding inspiration from others.

Very rough outline below that doesn't incorporate templates or getting inspiration from others.

What I like about this is that it molds extremely well to discovery. People could discover routines and question sets like they do Pinterest boards or Spotify playlists.
