Getting Started with YellowPad

1. Installation Guide

You can install the YellowPad Add-in for Microsoft Word in two ways:

3. Understanding Playbooks

YellowPad reviews and suggests redlines for your agreements based on customized playbooks.

• Your account already has several pre-configured playbooks
• You can create new playbooks from scratch or by duplicating and editing existing ones
• Access the playbook creation and management through the "Configurations" tab

Key Features & Tips

Analysis Controls

• Stop Button: Located above the playbook rules; click to stop an analysis at any time
• Play Buttons: After analysis, re-run individual playbook rules by clicking the Play button next to a specific rule

Redlines & Suggestions

• Net-New Language: When suggesting new text (rather than replacements), the system inserts language in appropriate places (i.e., before the highlighted text).
• Overlapping Rules: If multiple rules apply to the same text, applying one redline may affect others. For minor edits, the Add-in may auto-update the redline. Otherwise, re-run the affected rule using the “Play” button to refresh the suggestion.

Pro Tips for Best Results

Consistency Optimization: While we do extensive processing to achieve consistency, no LLM-based tool is 100% perfect. If a redline isn't quite right, simply re-run the analysis using the Play button until you're satisfied with the result.
