DOWNLOADING FILES
Within your Gumroad library, navigate to DCR and you’ll see 6 files. Here’s an overview of when you should use each one:
- (1 Main PDF) If you’re planning on reading the book on your laptop, this option is the highest quality and easiest to navigate.
- (2 Kindle PDF) If you’d like to read the book on your Kindle, this file is the easiest to port over and you can do so directly from the Gumroad page, but it is not resizeable and may be harder on the eyes.
- (3 MOBI Kindle Resizable) If you want a reflowable/resizable Kindle file, this is the one for you. This file’s images are lower quality and you’ll need to use Send to Kindle to send the file, but it only takes a few minutes.
- (4 EPUB Reflowable) If you’re planning on reading the file on another tablet like Kobo or using a program like Apple Books, this is a good option.
The final two files are the exercises, which I’d encourage you to download and even print out to get the most of the experience.
PROGRAMMING NOTES
- On length: The guide is pretty long, so not all sections will apply or be interesting to you. You can use the clickable table of contents to dive straight into the sections that matter to you most. I tried my best to make the book flow from one section to the next, but also have each section stand alone. Don’t hesitate to use this more like a textbook, instead of a novel.
- On patience: I apologize in advance if you stumble into any issues throughout the book. I wrote, edited, compiled, designed, etc the entire thing on my own, so no matter how many times I review it, it’s almost inevitable that I’ve overlooked a few things during the editing process.
- On feedback: If you do find any errors or have feedback, I’m all ears! You're welcome to DM me on Twitter at any time. This is an evolving document and as an early supporter, you will get access to all future iterations of the book. Which BTW, a bonus audio chapter will be released soon! 👀
LIVE SESSIONS
We've run two live session cohorts. We may run more in the future, but for now, you have access to all of the prior recordings and exercises.
All video session recordings can be found here.
You'll notice two options:
- 2020 cohort: The first six videos are more lecture-based from the first cohort.
- 2021 cohort: The next set of videos housed here are more exercise-based and whittled down to 3 sessions.
