What were your concrete goals for the week?
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- Lots of merging and lots of mini-prs put out for small features or bug fixes
- Anya and I did the game phases and made the islands fall
- I also did a bunch of boss tuning for gameplay
If the week went differently than you had planned, what were the reasons? note that this happens regularly…I would prefer you to be aggressive in what you want to try accomplish rather than limit yourself to goals you know you’ll easily achieve. so answering this question is more of a reflection on the development process and the surprises you encounter, it’s not at all an evaluation.
- Honestly the week went pretty much as I expected, we did quite a lot of merging which was needed
- Now that we have a game we can focus on fixes
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- Tuning gameplay!!!! Make it fun and put on the finishing touches
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- I enjoyed learning about more industry stuff in the guest lecture. For the game, not really anything new, just more of the same but with more focus away from features and towards the game as a whole
What is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)?

- I finished my mission…FINALL GRINDDDDDDD
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- More graphic wire up: particle effects for powerup, scenes, etc
- Start + end scene art + animations
- Final polishing
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- I learned about how to use my own editor so well LOL.
What is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)?
- back pain.
- 7hr nap from 7 pm to 2 am thats longer than my sleep (so is it still a nap…?)

What were your concrete goals for the week?
- Get sound effects working
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- I got a lot of sound effects in! In particular, getting the footstep loops in was pretty cool :D, ty fatimah for setting up the fmod stuff

- A lot of sfx were still missing as I didn’t realize exactly how many sound effects were necessary.
- Also some sounds which, while funny at first, very very quickly got annoying to listen to (rip to my tom and jerry-esque running sound :pensive:)
- The background music isn’t working well; I was able to update the FMOD parameters in code but one of the transitions is taking 6 seconds, and ideally it would take maybe 0.5 seconds :skull:.
- jk fixed it by just triggering the transition ahead of time. but surely there are better ways.
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- Finish the game :sob:
- More concretely: fill in the rest of the sfx, make them less annoying/more cohesive, fix the bgm phasing.
- Help people get it functional as necessary! I want to get a lot of playtesting in on Tuesday/Thursday
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- FMOD documentation sucks. this is perhaps in proportion to how nice the interface is, except that I’m aware of programs with worse interfaces and worse documentation. Saddening.
What is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)?
- Honestly the game looks and feels a lot better than I was expecting at the beginning of the quarter? In awe of my teammates.

What were your concrete goals for the week?
- I wanted to refine all the game logic and merging it with the new BVH colliders that Richard made. I also want to dehardcode the bridge building, as in we will have multiple bridges in the game. And add more gameplay logics as we finalizes our game and decides on what more we want to add to gameplay.
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- I did some logic refining, and was able to merge with the new BVH colliders. This week I mostly did bug fixing, and refining things. I wasn’t able to dehardcode the bridge building, so I am just going to hard code 4 bridges in the game tonight.

- I thought I could have done more this week, but it was mostly bugging fixing, and not really know what else to add into the game, as there is a lot of stuff already.
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- FIX ALL BUGS, AND ALL RESOURCES WORKS, GAMEPLAY GOOD
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- I didn’t really learn much this week, as I am still mostly doing the same gameplay stuff. If anything I learned a bunch of really easy songs on the guitar that I can play on one string for the sounds that we will have for our guitar object.

- geez thankfully it didn’t, but now that we’re reaching endgame features are jumping all over the place. I implemented some stuff that turns out we wont be doing but it was chill in the end, always double check with the team!!
