What were your concrete goals for the week?
- Server Optimizing
- merge stuff to get real gameplay
- make boss scarier
- i don’t even remember tbh
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- I was able to make it so that the server can now send a lot more objects than before, as before it was breaking when we were sending more than 80 objects in a packet. Surprisingly it was an easy fix.
- optimized serialization to only send dirty objects
- merged a bunch of stuff and had to do some fixes
- it issue make me SAD AND CRY
- add non-flat land stuff for the boss (like he can move on non-flat terrain, yes he)
If the week went differently than you had planned, what were the reasons? note that this happens regularly…I would prefer you to be aggressive in what you want to try accomplish rather than limit yourself to goals you know you’ll easily achieve. so answering this question is more of a reflection on the development process and the surprises you encounter, it’s not at all an evaluation.
- (Proffessor Voelker, if you’re reading this KATY is helping someone as she is in her tutor hours and will finish this soon, SOWWEY)
- this week definitely went different than planned. I wanted to do a lot of cool features and fun game stuff but then I realized that we need to focus on gameplay instead, plus I’m not really sure what features to work on that others aren’t already covering. And it’s hard to know exactly what those fun features might be if you can’t test out gameplay.
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- I want to help merge everyone’s code into main
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- more practice on using the merge conflict edit or!
What is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)?

What were your concrete goals for the week?
- ART ART ART MODELING MODELING ANIMATION ANIMATION
- We really need the MAP BUILDDINGGGG
- Fix the editor while doing map building
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- All of the above and more.
- Fix someone’s physics code + merge conflicts, bruh…
- Fixed physics side collider, and ensure it works with the editor
- Map building + editor implementations that makes my life easier:
- Now it supports grouping objects (environment objects, resources, etc.
- Delete, add object, add object based on exisiting presets
- Apply changes to all the same objects (easier to make massive adjustments)

- No, I grinded a lot, made up 10 weeks of artist progress in 1 week lol…
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- Really finalizing everything on the art + graphic side and join the gameplay implementation graphic side…no more time AHHHHHHHHHH
- More fixing on the physics side, right now our player can climb up mountains like a mountain goat. Also issues with friction.

What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- I learned how to speedrun Blender better now. also learned how to fix random free models I scraped from the web.
- How BVH collider work so I can fix someone’s code.

What were your concrete goals for the week?
- Amazingly, I didn’t fill them out last week so I don’t really remember? I assume mostly boss stuff.
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- Funnily enough, I ended up wrapping up the boss and having him serviceable pretty early on in the week. I was also able to merge in some PRs and took a look into how sound actually works.

- The week went pretty much as planned. Not much achieved, but that was expected. An unexpected (and ongoing) challenge as of 6pm on 05/25 was merging in a PR for multiple collider shapes per object; there were strange compile errors that I suspect originate from some circular #include statements, but hopefully it gets worked out.
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- My goals for the next week are probably to get the sounds completely done. I’d like to get all of the disparate features of the game to at least function and ideally maybe even get some playtesting in.
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- I learned that it’s stunningly easy to let an entire week fly by. horrifying.
What is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)? (notion won’t let me add a bullet point :( i suppose this is my morale)

What were your concrete goals for the week?
- I wanted to finish the musical chair logic (where if a player touches a chair object, they should stay there forever since that is the winning state)
What goals were you able to accomplish?
- I was able to finish the musical chair logic, however, it’s now spaceships instead of chairs. (I was doing basic testing using the spaceship model that we had since we didn’t have a chair model yet, and I realized that being stuck to a chair doesn’t really feel like you’re winning, and the spaceship model gave me an idea of just being able to fly it when you win) so now whenever we finish the boss stage, players run to grab a spaceship, then they can move around freely as gravity no longer affect them, and they can fly up and down using E and Q. I was also able to finish a simple version of bride building, where players can throw logs at a trigger block, that log becomes a static logs infront of the trigger block, and as you throw more logs, the bridge gets longer. And I added punching to the game and mushroom jump pad, its pretty much the same logic as throwing so that was pretty quick. I can’t add videos this week for some reason, I think we ran out of free trial for the notion trial =(

- This week I thought I have had less time on to spend on the project, but I was able to get back to it very quickly.
What are your specific goals for the next week?
- I want to refine all the game logic and merging it with the new BVH colliders that Richard made. I also want to dehardcode the bridge building, as in we will have multiple bridges in the game. And add more gameplay logics as we finalizes our game and decides on what more we want to add to gameplay.
What did you learn this week, if anything (and did you expect to learn it)?
- I’m mostly still doing the same things, as in implementing new gameplay but most of them pretty much follow the same template and uses the same logics so i did not learn much.
What is your individual morale (which might be different from the overall group morale)?aa I’ve accepted my fate of getting not as good grades in other classes and my future classes, as I find it more interesting and worthwhile to spend my time on things like CSE125 project more fun and rewarding, as I am learning a lot.
