For my IXD501 proposal, I began by writing the content out on paper, this way I could let it flow better and also have different drafts of the same section that I could improve on. The presentation we completed this week was a great foundation for the proposal. I had information and statistics that I included from the presentation to help my problem statement.
Once I completed this, I typed the content in a word document, to see how it looked digitally. From this, I decided to copy the text and paste it into InDesign and create the proposal there.
I understand that this wasn’t required, but I decided to do this as I believed I had more flexibility and tools at my disposal in InDesign as opposed to Word. In the end, this is the design I created:
