Instead of a class this week, we were given a group seminar for our main project, so we could get the chance to present our ideas to our focus group. I chose to talk about my three main ideas, which I wrote about the previous week. Out of the three ideas I thought of, my lecturer and peers agreed that the third idea was the best one. This was the idea that an MRI machine would have a projected screen displayed in it, or maybe a VR headset (possible idea to explore) that a user could use to take their mind off their settings and noise of the machine. My previous blog post goes into more detail on.
This was a great session that was conducted. I received really good feedback from my lecturer and peers on my ideas. I’m glad that I could get an outside opinion on this, especially from fellow designers. The next step for me is to expand on my chosen idea and see what research or further ideas I can think of, to improve my overall project.
