Cyber Republic - Elastos

For Weeks 3-4, Vulcan Link's our focus has been on adding additional node operators to elastos.feeds.link and working on a Chainlink grant proposal for a potential mainnet launch.

New Operator: Da Vinci Nodes

We're glad to introduce Da Vinci Nodes as the third node operator to join the ELA/USD aggregator. Now that we have 3 operators on this feed, the minimum response threshold can be bumped to 2/3.

Da Vinci Nodes is a new operator in the Chainlink ecosystem and we hope this can be a great first experience for them to learn and build their reputation. Follow them on Twitter at https://twitter.com/DaVinciNodes

Vulcan Link Chainlink Testnet Conclusion

As we end our 4th week on working on building a test ELA/USD Chainlink feed, we want to reflect on some of the objectives we'd set forth in our initial proposal:

As the scope and roadmap of our testnet proposal is coming to an end, we'd like to thank the CyberRepublic DAO for the trust they put in us over the past couple of weeks and hope they are satisfied with the work we've achieved so far. Of course, this is not an end but rather a beginning of a new phase of exploration regarding oracles on Elastos. We will continue maintaining the ELA/USD testnet feed and adding operators as they join. More importantly, we'd like to start a discussion on the future outlook of oracles on Elastos mainnet.

Future Outlook

The ELA/USD provides a proof of concept of porting the Chainlink oracle architecture from Ethereum to Elastos. The question we now ask is: "What is the future for sustainable mainnet oracles on Elastos?". Some related issues are:
