1. You’ll choose a proximity sensor to work with, from this list.
  2. Check out the a proximity sensor of your choice from the shop. Make them work by following the tutorials and reading about them.
  3. Find out the sensing anglemix/max distance, and strengths/weakness. We’ll “map” these sensors together on a graph in the next class so have these information handy!
  4. Research existing applications of the sensor and/or come up with ideas inspired by the sensor(either its use or how it works).
  5. Make a blog post about your research.

It can sense the distance of objects omni-directional, which can be a great solution for some projects. The sensor gives you a lot of data so that might be a bit challenging to work with.
