Handling Precautions
- Always work with clay in moist form to prevent silica dust generation.
- If dry dust is produced (sanding/cutting dried clay): wear N95/FFP2 respirator.
- Wear gloves for prolonged contact; wash skin with soap and water after use.
- Flush eyes with water for 15 min if clay dust contacts eyes.
- No eating or drinking in the work area.
Storage & Disposal
- Store in an airtight sealed container to prevent drying out.
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Excess clay: keep moist, collect in sealed bags, dispose via waste management team.
- Do not pour clay slurry into drains.
