Design Review Notes

  1. The logo looks unprofessional. The old-school font and the generic “W” inside a square feel templated. Consider switching to a more modern sans-serif typeface and redesigning the mark.
  2. The header navigation is misaligned. It’s currently centered within the space between the logo and the “Get Started” button, rather than centered relative to the entire header.
  3. The headline font makes the design feel dated. I’d recommend switching to the Geist font family (or a similar modern grotesk). It will immediately give the interface a more contemporary look.
  4. The light gray background doesn’t work here. That color is effective when the layout is built around cards and contrast is essential. In this case, a clean white background would feel fresher and more modern.
  5. The sections feel repetitive. Blocks like Built for busy local businesses, Everything you need to get started, What’s Included, and How it works use very similar grid structures. As a result, the overall layout feels monotonous. Introducing more variation in composition, rhythm, and visual hierarchy would add dynamism.
  6. Testimonials without real photos reduce credibility. Adding authentic profile photos (or stronger visual identity elements) would significantly improve trust.
  7. In the “Why choose WebScout Studio” section, the letter icons are misaligned. The letters inside the icons are not perfectly centered, which makes the design feel slightly off.
  8. The favicon color is inconsistent with the brand. The favicon is green, while the primary accent color of the website is blue. It’s better to choose one primary accent and keep it consistent across the brand.

Prompts

1️⃣ Logo feels templated

Prompt:

Redesign the WebScout logo to look modern and professional.

Use a clean, contemporary sans-serif typeface (avoid default system fonts).

Remove the generic “W inside a square” concept.

Create a minimal wordmark with strong typographic balance and subtle uniqueness (custom letter spacing or a small distinctive detail).

Keep it simple, scalable, and suitable for SaaS branding.

Avoid gradients, drop shadows, and obvious startup clichés.

2️⃣ Header menu alignment

Prompt:

Adjust the header layout so the navigation menu is centered relative to the full width of the header — not centered between the logo and the CTA button.

Keep the logo left-aligned and the “Get Started” button right-aligned, but visually center the nav items across the full container width.

Ensure proper spacing and visual balance.

3️⃣ Headline typography feels dated
