This privacy policy explains how Watt (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes your personal data when you use our website (trywatt.app), join our waitlist, or use the Watt - Mental Energy Planner mobile application. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to inform you in clear, plain language about what data we process, why we process it, and for how long.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect only data that is necessary to provide and improve the Watt service. This includes:

2.1 Account Data

When you create a Watt account, we collect your email address and a consent record (whether you agreed to our terms and privacy policy, and when).

You can create and access your account in three ways:

• Email and password — your password is stored in hashed, non-recoverable form. We never have access to your plain-text password.
• Sign in with Google — authentication is handled by Google OAuth. We receive only your email address and a confirmation token. Google's privacy policy governs the sign-in process.
• Sign in with Apple — authentication is handled by Apple. Apple may provide a real or anonymised email address depending on your choice. Apple's privacy policy governs the sign-in process.

2.2 In-App Health & Behavioural Data

The core of Watt is the data you log to build your personal energy model. This includes:

• Sleep quality (e.g. a self-reported quality rating each morning)
• Subjective energy level (how energetic you feel at a given moment)
