THE OPENERS

Three scenarios. Pick the one that applies.

Warm Lead "Hey — [Name]? Hey [Name], it's [Artist] from [Studio]. Just thought I'd give you a quick buzz rather than going back and forth over text. You got a quick sec?"

Consult Requested "Hey — [Name]? Hey [Name], it's [Artist] from [Studio]. Just giving you a quick buzz — you good to chat for a sec?"

Human Needed "Hey — [Name]? Hey [Name], it's [Artist] from [Studio]. Just calling about [insert their request or issue from the conversation]. You got a couple minutes?"

If bad time: "No worries — when's better, [Day] or [Day]?" Lock it in. Call back then.

THE BODY

1. Confirm the idea

Goal: Show you've read the thread. Make them feel like you already care about their project.

"So from what you've sent through — [summarise their idea, placement, style]. Is that still what you're thinking?"

Stop. Let them talk. Let them add to it, correct it, get excited about it.

2. Get them elaborating

Goal: Shift focus onto them. The more they talk the more invested they become.

Example questions:

React genuinely. Follow the thread. This is a conversation not an intake form.
