You are hard-wired to be a conqueror.
You are hard-wired to be a G.
But, the Matrix is designed to suppress and destroy this in you — to stop you from becoming the man you’re setting out to become.
But if you decide to activate and harness this genetic ability, you’re going to start:
The very first step is to:
Create a specific, defined target.
You need to set your sights on a goal, a target, a dream state to make a reality.
And it can’t be vague. It won’t spark the energy necessary to win.
You need to make your vision as vivid, compelling, and exciting as possible.
To do that, include the following elements:
Once you have this vivid and compelling vision that is your dream state,
You need to:
Find the steps in between where you are now, and where you want to go.
In between where you are now and your dream state, there are levels:
For example,
Each level will have steps to execute.
Each day, you will wake up with the next steps in mind, reminding yourself of exactly what lies ahead and the steps you need to take to get there.
For example,
“If I complete this client project, I can leverage the results to secure massive business contacts, close them as clients, and start getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
Chart out the levels and the steps you need to take to get there.
At night, you’ll plan the next day, thinking about the tasks you need to accomplish to reach the next level and reach the larger goal.
In the morning, you’ll look at your task list and what lies ahead, sparking up fireblood. Execute.
At the end of the day, you’ll take a look at all the things you’ve conquered and the battles you’ve won.
And each day, you’ll start to believe more and more that you’re going to get there, that you’re going to win this war and come out on top.
Because you’re winning, day by day, piece by piece, step by step.
And sometimes, you’ll miss a task because of something else that came up. Or you ran into some challenges that you have to figure out, learn a new skill for, tap into your resources for, and you’ll need to figure out how to win it on the next day, etc.
This is normal. There will be challenges along the way.
This is where you will build your character and leave the losers behind.
Having a dream is easy.
The hard part is actually creating a plan to get there and executing.
“No plan survives first contact with the enemy.” - Helmuth von Moltke
You’re going to begin executing the plan, and things are going to change.
You simply have to adapt your plan and charge forward.
“Plans are useless. Planning is invaluable.” - Dwight D. Eisenhower
The plan you are going to create will not match reality at 100% — and that’s okay.
But the act of planning itself allows you to take something abstract — a dream — and turn it into something real.
Something tangible, specific, and concrete that can be translated into raw, focused action.
Step 1: Where do you want to go?
Create your dream state.
Get crystal clear on this.
Step 2: Where are you now?
You need to clearly define exactly where you are.
Ignoring this leaves you vulnerable to purely focus on what’s ahead,
Blinding you from seeing what you must do to get there.
You need to have a clear picture of both so that you can plot course from point A to point B.
Step 3: What are the steps between where you are now, and where you want to go?
Get really detailed with this.
Take your current state, (Just joined the campus)
Take your dream state, (Making $10,000/Month)
And plot out the steps in between where you are now, and where you want to go.
You can answer this in two different ways:
Along the path, you’re going to have checkpoints — markers along the way.
For example:
When you’re driving in a convoy, you’re not focused on getting to the end, you’re focused on getting to the next step, and the next step, and the next step.
QUICK NOTE
There are going to be a lot of unknowns.
Steps you don’t understand, grey areas you must explore.
You can figure out a lot of these with your own brain, asking around, and using your resources.
But you want to get as detailed as possible on the actual steps from your current state to the dream state.
Step 4: What obstacles and challenges will you face along the way?
There are going to be roadblocks and challenges you have to defeat along the way.
Identify all the obstacles you might face.
What obstacles are in the way between where you are now and where you want to go?
Step 5: What advantages do you have?
Now, shift your focus to your strengths.
If you’re not working a job and dedicating yourself fully to The Real World,
You have the advantage of time. You can hyper-tailor your value for your clients and get them crazy results.
If you’re inside of The Real World,
You have the advantage of resources, external experience, and on-demand sources for questions.
Step 6: What are the weaknesses of your opponent?
Every opponent, obstacle, and goal you’re trying to reach has a critical weakness.
Analyze what vulnerabilities and weaknesses your opponents have.
You’re going to leverage and exploit these weaknesses to blast through your opponents and obstacles to help you achieve your goal.
Find key vulnerabilities and weaknesses, leverage them to win.
(Also, analyze what weaknesses YOU might have. Any bad habits, lack of resources, etc., and you need to find a way to counteract them or remove them.)
Step 7: Budget out time and plan out the steps.
From beginning to end,
Map out specific times for each step.
You have the series of steps you need to go through.
Sit down and budget out specific times for each step.
Set the checkpoints.
Map out each step with specific times.
Execute.
