Double Agent: A character with divided loyalties or who is secretly working for another party, adding layers of intrigue and betrayal.
Purpose Investigating and attempting to expose Luness as a Token. Ultimately dying with her and setting Fateus upon his individual path. To be loyal to the Heavens and one day be seen by them as a leading figure of their own.
Self Definement A relentless and devoted servant of the Heavens, striving to prove his worth through unwavering dedication and ruthless efficiency in his Gatekeeping duties.
Profile Standing Keeper Warner. An early antagonist for the Gates region and specifically the Anyth. He is a tyrannical and ruthless leader to his own people. Warner’s goal is to be eventually one of the Heavens and although it may be impossible he believes he can prove himself. And so the Heavens use this to their advantage and pressure him into overperforming his Gatekeeping duties. He becomes the perfect manic puppet of the Heavens and when he learns of a Token being alive he will go to all lengths to present the evidence to his Gods. Much alike Zipher, Warner is deeply jealous of the Heavens which rule above him (figuratively and literally). And so his rage and dedication is built upon that jealousy to prove himself. As Warner walks he holds both sides of his jacket open with each hand.

after the attack perhaps warner is stripped of his rank for nearly failing the oligarch in getting them killed. and so rogue is put in as the new standing keeper “i cant do this” poppet says he will. rogue then may make changes as the standing keeper including letting people from the anyth become keepers… etc? bc warner is stripped of his rank he is no longer a keeper and still desperately and badly wishes to return. and so this pushes him on his path to investigating luness and such in hopes to regain his respect by the heavens by revealing a token.
with rogue in charge it also makes blue moon far easier to and make more sense with rogue being able to control the narrative more. it also sets it up to make more sense when he is improsond at the end.
