As we kick off AmeriCorps Month of Action, let us remember a section from the AmeriCorps pledge we took,
“I will get things done for America- to make our people safer, smarter, and healthier.”
AmeriCorps Members, just like you, are ensuring that the most vulnerable members of our communities across the state are having access to COVID-19 Vaccinations.
The Problem: Many people are still having trouble accessing accurate information about the COVID-19 vaccine and how to sign up for their appointments.
Why your work Matters: As a member in your own community, you have the ability to expand our current outreach and education efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19. Through AmeriCorps Month of Action, the events you are hosting in your communities are providing all Californians volunteer opportunities that will Educate, Motivate, and Activate in public health education and COVID-19 Registration.
