Visualizations are a powerful way to attract more of what you want in your life. Some people may consider these techniques "mambo jambo", but many famous high-performing athletes have reported just how effective they really are. Some call it visualizing, others call it mindset. Either way, it's about getting really good at seeing what you want in your mind's eye, and then taking action towards it.
Many years ago, I came across a young boy named Adam McLeod, a gifted Vancouver-based naturopathic doctor whose books, personal healings, and large-scale healing-and-learning events challenged modern understandings of the effects of intentions on molecular biology. His main premise is that focused intentions can influence our health and healing, for which the science is now catching up to support this.
In 2006, Adam carried out EEG (electroencephalographic) studies with a prominent Psychologist in Vancouver. The EEG confirmed that the subject’s brain wave activity in the experiment could be influenced remotely.$^1$
If you're wanting to see how this is applied in the "real world", with professional athletes, take a look at this. Below is a video from UFC fighter, Conor McGregor, who is a big fan of something called "The Law of Attraction." He swears by it and describes below how to visualize, manifest, and realize your dreams.
Although this might be considered "woo woo" to some, the science is catching up, as demonstrated by Adam McLeod and his experiments with intentions and molecular biology.
Here’s another example of visualization power from the late Kobe Bryant:
