What is Maximally Hack?

Maximally Hack is the platform we’re building to make hackathons actually fun again. We’re not just cloning Devpost or Devfolio. We’re creating a Gen Z native, AI native hackathon hub — designed with pastel crayon energy, built by hackers, and shaped by the people who actually join hackathons.

Maximally Hack gives participants, judges, and organizers the full stack:

• Discover events that actually feel cool.
• Form teams without the awkward Discord DMs.
• Submit projects with proper docs, demos, and AI helpers.
• Judge fairly with async, transparent systems.
• Run events with tools that don’t make you cry at 2am.

Why we’re building this

Maximally (the parent org) already runs some of the biggest hackathons in India, with thousands of participants across AI Shipathon, Startup Makeathon, and now the Grand Indian Hackathon season. Every event shows us the same thing:

• Gen Z builders want hackathons that feel alive, not corporate.
• Organizers want tools that don’t collapse when 500 kids submit at 11:59pm.
• Judges want smoother dashboards, not Excel sheets with broken formulas.

We get it — because we’ve been in the chaos ourselves. Maximally Hack is the answer: a platform built by hackers, for hackers.

• Be the coolest hackathon platform in the world. The one people want to use, not just get stuck with.
• Go AI native. From AI-powered summaries of projects for judges, to AI tools for team formation, we’ll be the first hackathon platform where AI is not a gimmick — it’s baked into the workflows.
