Negative Sense
You give NEGATIVE reviews to a BAD PROF.
The first group, BAD, stands for bunyaviruses, arenaviruses, and delta virus. The second group, PROF, stands for paramyxoviruses, rhabdoviruses, orthomyxoviruses, and filoviruses.
The first group represents the viruses with circular RNA, and the second group represents the viruses with linear RNA.
Don’t forget to also memorize the segments! Arenaviruses have two segments, bunyaviruses have three segments, and orthomyxoviruses have eight segments. The segmented viruses also correspond to the three blood types (A, B, and O)
