Vidi ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and protects your information.

Vidi is designed to have a minimal data footprint. We only collect the data necessary to provide the core functionality of the extension.
- Authentication Information: When you connect your Notion account, we receive and locally store an OAuth access token. This allows the extension to communicate with your Notion workspace.
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We fetch your Notion workspace/account name strictly to display it within the extension's interface so you know which account is currently active.
- Website Content: When you actively choose to use Vidi to clip a webpage, we capture the selected text, images, or screenshots from the active browser tab.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used exclusively to provide the extension's core functionality.
- We use your Auth token and Notion name to facilitate the connection between the extension and your Notion database.
- We process captured website content solely to transmit it directly to your selected Notion database.
- We do not track your browsing history or log your background activity. Vidi only reads the active webpage when you explicitly interact with the extension.
3. Data Storage and Sharing
- Local Storage: Your Notion access token, preferences, and workspace name are stored locally on your device within your browser's secure storage.
- No External Servers: We do not store your clips, credentials, or personal information on any external Vidi-owned servers. Data is routed directly from your browser to the official Notion API.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to any third parties for marketing, advertising, or any other purposes.
4. Your Control
You can revoke Vidi's access to your Notion account at any time by clicking "Disconnect" within the extension or by removing the integration from your Notion settings.
