Special Note

Vella was designed around the Venom 60 HE non RGB version before the RGB version was available. If you are using the Venom 60 HE RGB, we recommend building with Keysnaps to prevent disconnections. Install them on the left and right Alt keys on the bottom row and any preferred positions on the top row. Keysnaps slightly raise the plate and PCB to prevent the components from contacting the case.

Note: The component layout differs between the RGB and non RGB versions.

1. Prepare the PCB

1.1 Always check your PCB before assembly

Make sure it connects securely to the USB cable and is fully functional before continuing.

For magnetic switches and especially for Vella, we recommend installing the switches onto the plate first before screwing the plate onto the PCB.
