With speed comes faster learnings. We believe in continuous improvements so that our users get more value faster and we can learn rapidly.
We’re a design-led company and believe in the power of beautiful design to drive business growth, user satisfaction and ultimately to change the world.
Everything we do at Maze is an iteration to the next step. We don’t strive for immediate perfection but rather take an experimental approach to everything we do.
We believe in the power of data. And this is why we use data as the basis of our decision-making—but we also believe in going with your gut feeling from time to time. We’re human after all.
We believe that improving anything starts with the ability to listen to others. Feedback — both internal and external — is vital to everything we do.
We always consider the human on the other side of every interaction: when we design experiences, develop our product, create marketing materials, or walk you through our product.
Here is a short list of criteria defines us and that we are looking for in someone joining the team:
Everyone in the company should be seeking to always improve their soft and hard skills. We promote internal coaching, accountability partners and dedicate half a day every week to reading/working on subjects that help the company and the people inside it grow.
As a fully remote team, one of the key skills we are looking for is the capacity to work with little to no oversight. We believe in hiring people that know how to do their job, and enjoy being pro-active in decisions and outreach to the team.
Being able to listen and act on criticism/feedback is the most important part of our company’s culture. We’re extremely data-driven, which means we don’t let ego get in the way of changing the way we do things. Continuous learning and improvement through shared knowledge is core to who we are.
We’re looking for people who want to take part in building and growing a company, as well as assuming coaching and leading roles when presented with the opportunity. We’re actively on the lookout for people who want to change the world.
We want the people we work with to love what they do. Developers with heavy open-source contributions, designers with up to date dribbble/behance profiles, people who love to participate in talks/meetups are the kind of gems we are looking for.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously and we want people on the team we can see ourselves hanging out with outside of work. As a global, all-remote team, it’s important we get along on a personal level as much as on a professional level. We show each other respect and assume positive intent because things don't always translate in a global environment.
