Barbora Valiukevičiūtė-Žeižytė & Anaël Bonnet

Violin & Piano Duo

Violinist Barbora Valiukevičiūtė-Žeižytė and pianist Anaël Bonnet form a Lithuanian–French duo distinguished by expressive clarity, artistic maturity, and a refined chamber-music sensibility. Their collaboration unites Barbora’s international performance experience — including appearances in major venues across the United States, Japan, Italy, and Europe — with Anaël’s nuanced French pianism shaped by advanced training and a wide range of collaborative work.

Barbora’s artistic profile spans performance, teaching, and cultural creation, including masterclasses at international institutions and the development of chamber-music and festival initiatives in Lithuania. Anaël complements this with a grounded interpretative style, structural sensitivity, and broad repertoire knowledge across solo and chamber settings.

Recognised for unity of sound, balance, and thoughtful musical dialogue, the duo brings a warm, narrative approach to performance. Barbora performs on a historic Ferdinando Alberti violin (Milan, c. 1760), whose resonant character forms an integral part of the duo’s sound.
