Every year it is an emotion to hold such an important event for children, and that makes us feel motivated to do better than the previous year, in such a way that we spend weeks preparing each aspect with love and energy.
We started on Saturday, November 28 with a meeting with group leaders, assistants, and staff, where we began with the planning of the event, and ended with the meetings on January 10.
In each meeting we evaluate the aspects to improve, what things we could do differently and more special so that the boys and girls remember VBS more and more funny and special.

Before leaving, we prayed and entrusted our steps to the Lord, so that at the moment of distributing each invitation the families would receive with pleasure and that God would take care of our walk, and it was.
Nothing better than knowing that God answers our prayers, and takes care of us, his children, with a special love.
This year, we decided to invite the children from home to home, due to the health events of last year, to inform them that VBS 2021 would take place, news that made every child who was informed happy, we were surprised to see that the Children and parents await you with great joy.

This year, the theme to decorate was Cranes and Concrete, a theme that made us transport the children to a construction site, we tried as much as possible, to decorate the entire church with black and yellow balloons, with yellow and blacks paper, we build buildings out of paper and cardboard, we create balloon columns.
It took us 2 days to finish decorating the church, a job that took many hands, effort and love, without a doubt, the children enjoyed it, I would not be surprised if someone wants to be a builder after the event.
During the 3 days, the children arrived very early, as soon as the doors and gates opened, a large number of children began to arrive, at the entrance, the group leaders and the assistants were in charge of receiving the children, What a thrill to see the happiness and joy of the children.

A drama was performed, in which the children participated and Sister Karla narrated it, the drama was a way to reinforce the lesson of day 3, I talk about the wise builders who build on the rock, and about the foolish ones who build their lives off the base that is Christ.

In total, 210 children arrived during the 3 days, it was an important number, at the time of the snack, everybody in order went one by one to have their snack, the kitchen sisters, led by Pastor Leslie, made dishes for more than 230 people, without a doubt a labor of love for the work of Christ.

The children, without a doubt, enjoyed every moment of the VBS, between dances, games, Bible lessons, competitions, and prizes, the morning flew by, the last day, a group of children approached me and said that if we do it more days because 3 days is too little for them, I just laughed.

It really is a joy to see so many children receiving from God, in a way suitable for their understanding, it was amazing, each year is more beautiful than the previous one.
