This Privacy Policy describes how VOWit handles information when you use the app.
1. Overview
VOWit is a private space for personal vows and logs. You write vows in your own words and record when you keep or break them, along with optional context. The app is designed to be local, minimal, and free of social, feed-based, or advisory features.
2. Data we collect and store
2.1 Account and identity
- VOWit does not require you to create an account.
- VOWit does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other direct identifiers.
2.2 Content you enter
- The information you enter into VOWit (including vow titles, vow body text, and log entries such as “kept/broke” notes and timestamps) is stored on your device.
- In the current version, this data is not automatically synced to any remote server and is not shared with other users.
- If future versions add optional backup or sync features, the app will clearly indicate this and explain what is stored remotely and how.
2.3 Device and technical data
- VOWit does not integrate third‑party analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or tracking libraries.
- Outside of what the app stores themselves collect for their own purposes, VOWit does not collect additional device identifiers or diagnostic data for its own backend, because there is no backend.
2.4 Sensitive data
- You may choose to enter personal or sensitive information when writing vows or describing the context of a kept or broken vow.
