They exist to ensure fair judging, clear visibility, and safe skating, while allowing full creative freedom.

Video Orientation (Required)

World Open Showcase

• Must be filmed in horizontal format (landscape)
• 16:9 or similar wide format
• Vertical videos may be rejected or penalized

The Showcase is judged as a complete skating piece.

Horizontal framing is required to show movement, space, and environment.

World Open Skills Battles

• Must be filmed in vertical format (portrait)
• 9:16 format
• Horizontal videos may be rejected or penalized

Skills Battles are designed for impact, clarity, and moment-driven performance.
