A verb is a word that shows action, state, or possession. ( type, look , teach, write, understand)
Examples:
run, eat, think, have, is, are, write, play
A. Action Verbs
→ Physical Action (run, jump, write) where you use your body
→ Mental Action (think, believe, imagine) where we use our brain.
B. Linking Verbs
→ Forms of “be” (am, is, are, was, were)
→ Seem, become, appear, feel
C. Helping / Auxiliary Verbs
→ Primary Auxiliaries: be ( is/am/are/was/were) ,have, do.
→ Modal Auxiliaries:( it depends on moods ) can, could, will, should, may, must.
D. Transitive Verbs (needs an object)

E. Intransitive Verbs (no object needed)
F. Regular Verbs ( repeated words) (add -ed / -d)
G. Irregular Verbs (change forms differently)
