As a full-time student and part-time employee, my schedule is far from flexible. Organizing my time requires quite a bit of juggling, and I’m often caught putting my professional life before my personal life in order to manage all of my commitments. It’s so easy to get caught up in routine and day-to-day tasks that I frequently miss new opportunities to [grow both personally and professionally/personally and professionally grow]. In many cases, I catch myself [saying/thinking] that I don’t have the time or energy to put into new projects or hobbies, let alone to take on a task as demanding time-consuming as volunteering.

For me, [the/this] quarantine has been both a blessing and a curse. My routine has taken a complete 180, and one of the positives blossoming from this change is that I've had more spare time on my hands than ever before. With this change, I promised myself that I’d try to stay busy and finally take on the new opportunities that [came/come] my way. Therefore, when I stumbled across [volunteer postings for FightPandemics and other organizations/FightPandemics' volunteer posting], I [applied right jumped in right away/jumped at the opportunity]. And thus far, [all of my experiences with this organization have/my experience with this organization has] been extremely rewarding. I've been able to use volunteering as an outlet to make blending a way to make blending my professional life with my personal time enjoyable, and I think believe that it has the [same potential/potential to do the same] for students, fresh grads, full-time workers, [people/those] transitioning between jobs ... and virtually anyone!
