Overview

Maps with what3words is a simple extension for your web browser that lets you use what3words directly in Bing Maps.

Available for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Getting started

Installing the extensions

To enter what3words addresses into Bing Maps on your desktop, download the Chrome Extension or Mozilla FireFox Extension.

To pin the extension to your toolbar:

  1. Go to you browser menu and select 'Extensions' 🧩
  2. Find 'Maps with what3words'
  3. Select 'Pin' πŸ“Œ

Key features

Search for what3words addresses directly in Bing Maps

  1. Open Bing Maps in your browser
  2. Click the search bar and enter a what3words address, without any spaces, in the format ///word.word.word
  3. Select the correct result from the drop-down list to view the location on the map
