🎯 What You’ll Do
In this activity, you’ll write messages to address certain situations into a clear, structured spoken message.
📘 Instructions
- Write a sample email message following the Context-Content-Call to Action (CCC) framework for the scenario:
- Your client, a fast-paced executive based in New York, needs to host a strategic planning session involving stakeholders in San Francisco, London, and Singapore. The meeting must happen within the next 72 hours to align with a major product launch. They’ve asked you to “handle the setup,” but have provided no further details.
- Here’s an example:
- Context: Just a quick update on where we stand for the board meeting next Wednesday.
- Content: The slide deck is finalized and shared in your drive folder. I’ve also added speaker notes to slides 3, 6, and 9 based on last week’s feedback. Finance sent over the latest projections, those are now updated in the appendix.
- Call to Action: Let me know if you'd like me to draft a pre-read email for the board, or if there's anything else you'd like added before I lock the materials tomorrow.
- Record a Zoom video of yourself delivering the message.
- Go to zoom.com and record the video
- Make sure that you deliver the message with clarity, brevity, and visual presence
- Review your video and answer the following questions:
- Would a viewer immediately understand what the update is about and why it matters?
- Did I avoid rambling or jumping between points? Where could I have tightened my message?
- Review your summary using the AI feedback prompt below. This step is required.
